Didn't we already do that by sending the days we couldn't be at rehearsal? We had to send those emails to laura already ... and we listed it on our audition sheets...
Great question! Thanks for asking. Of course, it's great to be able to reference our notified absences list to see if we have already excused your absence. However, as a courtesy, Ms. Harris has requested that if you anticipate an absence, please send her, myself (Laura) and Dr. Nash an email the day before (just as a reminder.) But primarily, this is just the contact information you will need if you are sick, or have a family emergency that causes you to miss rehearsal.
What if there is a certain day of the week I can't be there? Like say I have to miss every Thursday for singing lessons. Do I have to send a reminder every Thursday?
In such a case, as long as Dr. Nash and Ms. Harris are aware of this (perhaps speak to them personally if you are concerned), you would not have to email them every single week. However, please keep in mind that there may be certain tech or dress rehearsals which you would be required to attend, so be sure to speak with Ms. Harris as soon as possible if you think this will be a problem. Thanks :)
